As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as a key partner to stakeholders and engineering teams, driving complex initiatives, influencing decisions, and ensuring delivery of high-impact solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional projects
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, shaping requirements and influencing strategic decisions
  • Analyze business processes, systems, and data flows to identify optimization and transformation opportunities
  • Drive requirements elicitation through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative sessions
  • Perform deep root cause analysis and recommend scalable, long-term solutions
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements (user stories, functional specs, process flows)
  • Define and model data structures, integrations, and system interactions aligned with business goals
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, aligning business and technical teams on scope, priorities, and solutions
  • Support and contribute to solution design, working closely with architects and development teams
  • Ensure requirements quality through validation, refinement, and continuous stakeholder feedback
  • Contribute to business case development and support decision-making with data-driven insights
  • Promote and implement best practices in business analysis, improving processes, standards, and documentation
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and help teams maintain structure, clarity, and delivery focus 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts, architecture, and system integrations
  • Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar
  • Strong domain knowledge in insurance, preferably Property & Casualty within US/UK markets
  • Ability to lead analysis efforts independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives end-to-end
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and define structured solutions
  • Proven experience in mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practices within the BA community
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, process modeling, and solution design
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
