Java Developer
Serbia/North Macedonia (Hybrid)
Join our team as a Java Developer and help build and improve solutions in a modern microservices environment. You’ll work with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, taking on complex technical challenges and helping improve the performance, security, and capabilities of our applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services within a microservices architecture
- Build reliable and scalable solutions using Java and Spring Boot
- Optimize applications for performance, efficiency, and stability
- Implement cloud security practices across applications and services
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting to improve system reliability and visibility
- Evaluate and integrate new platform features to expand system capabilities
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues independently while collaborating with the wider development team
- Share knowledge and provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of backend development and microservices architecture
- Experience with scripting across multiple programming languages is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- Cloud certifications are a plus
